Hello

Growing up in South Africa, the wild and fascinating landscape influenced and fuelled my passion for the natural world, its vibrant colours and the amazing creatures who live in it. My favourite bird is a Hoopoe and I have a soft spot in my heart for the ever changing and humble chameleon.

 

After studying Graphic Design at Pretoria School of Art, a career in Advertising and Design followed. Here I honed my skills in working to deadlines, client relations, eye for detail and creative solutions to briefs. Much of my work was in the Arts, especially theatre and dance and that sense of excitement, colour and creativity always excited me. London has been home for many years, with the energy and spirit of this amazing city inspiring me.

 

Craft and hands on making has always been a passion of mine. When I discovered polymer clay I knew that this was a creative medium that I wanted to explore and develop. I love it for its colour, its pliable properties and versatility.  What started as a hobby has grown into a business. I design and create in my home studio; each piece is made by hand.  Creating special, unique pieces for special, unique people. My quirky products will lift your spirits, bring colour into your world and certainly provide a conversation piece. I believe that everyone has something Truly Fabulous about them and Truly Fabulous Gifts will add to their sparkle.

When I’m not claying, I can be found in London’s superb art galleries, at the theatre, down the gym, reading with my book club, sharing a glass of wine with friends or trying to stop my mad crazy cat from attacking me.
